A little about Sierra:

Having grown up with my own family dysfunction, much of my childhood was marked with uncertainty, a survival mentality, and negative core beliefs. Thankfully, towards the end of high school I enrolled in a Psychology course and my chaotic world slowly began to make sense. My natural understanding of psychology and passion for this class led me to getting my Bachelors in Psychology, and eventually my Masters in Counseling. This education brought with it some of the most challenging yet fruitful moments of my life, and with each step I have continued to find and heal more of myself.

My professional journey with psychology, as well as my own personal journey as a client, has brought clarity and healing to the most hurt parts of myself. The combination of my personal and professional experience has also led me to become the passionate and skilled Therapist I am today. It is truly an honor and a privilege to walk alongside clients on their own journeys towards health and healing.

I am incredibly grateful to not only love what I do, but also feel fulfilled by it. However, no matter how much one loves their work, I do believe that balancing one’s personal and professional life remains important. Therefore, I fill my personal time with some not-so-fun responsibilities like the rest of us, but also with many other things that I love – including friends and family, relaxation, outdoor adventures, and traveling. My life’s latest adventure has been getting two new kitties; they bring many laughs and snuggles, and surprisingly little destruction!
