Is Your Child Struggling with an Anxiety Disorder or OCD?

You’re Not Alone.

Join our supportive Parent Group for Families Navigating a Child with an Anxiety Disorder or OCD.

Location: Virtual via Google Meet, the link will be sent directly to you once you have signed up for the sessions.

Duration: The group will meet for 8 weeks, with each session lasting 1 hour and 20 mins.

Dates/Times: Thursdays starting Feb. 6th 2025 to March 27th 2025, 8pm-9:20pm

*Please note that group session dates are subject to change if the group therapist needs to reschedule for any reason. In such cases, makeup sessions may be pushed to later in January to accommodate the adjustment. We will notify you of any changes in advance.

Content: Each session will include psychoeducation, discussion, and skill-building activities designed to empower parents in managing their child’s Anxiety Disorder or OCD, and support from other parents in the group.

Share your experiences, challenges, and successes in a safe space with other parents who understand what you’re going through.

Group Therapy for Parents of Children with an Anxiety Disorder or OCD

• Cost: One payment of $300 for all 8 sessions. For each parent or set of parents.

• Payment is due prior to the first group meeting on Feb 6th

• Cancellation policy: Payment for the group is paid as a package so there are no reimbursements, if you need to miss out on a session. Please try to attend all sessions if possible, if you are not able to make one just reach out to Caitlin at [email protected] to let her know.

Meet Your Group Therapist

Caitlin Schweighart, ACSW (125703), MSW

Caitlin’s personal experience as a mother of a child with OCD, combined with her own struggle with emetophobia, gives her a deep understanding of the challenges families face. With specialized training in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), experience working with parents and children with various anxiety disorders and trauma, and 14 years as a military spouse and mother of two, Caitlin understands the complexities of parenthood. Caitlin brings her expertise, empathy, and support to the group, offering a compassionate space for families to heal and grow.
